Pet Nanny and Yoga
A practice that focuses on quieting the mind to create space for healing to begin. Stress is an epidemic that is detrimental to overall health. The physical practice of Yoga can begin to alleviate some of that stress and connect the mind, body and spirit. Through Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, Haha Yoga and sound healing, I hope to encourage healthier lifestyles to promote a healthier and more fulfilling life.
There aren't any established studios for Yoga in Surprise so I hope to one day grow this community in this area!
I am very passionate about the health and wellbeing of our four legged friends. I utilize my knowledge in veterinary medicine to provide your furry family member with a safe and comfortable home away from home while you're away! Because of my job experience, I am comfortable watching and medicating pets with chronic non-communicable diseases. I will love and care for your pet as if they were my own! I create mala beads and bracelets on request from healing gemstones. Each item will be cleansed via sage, the sun/moon, or sound healing prior to receiving. I am an ambitious and hard-working individual with a deep passion for improving health and wellness for people through Yoga, helping and caring for animals, and exploring the beauty of Mother Nature. I have explored many beautiful places in Arizona, Utah, Colorado, California, and dipped my toes in Hawaii. I enjoy hiking with my dogs, camping and growing my succulents on my spare time. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and have been working in Veterinary medicine since 2009. I began my work in animal medicine at a shelter in Flagstaff where I worked for 4 years and after graduation went to private practice down in Phoenix. After college and into my career I noticed how much stress was affecting my health and turned to Yoga for healing. I attended Southwest Institute of Healing Arts from 2017-2018 where I completed my 600 hour Yoga Teacher Training, I transformed my physical and mental health so much in this year that I became passionate about sharing this awareness with those around me. Although my first and forever passion is rooted in helping animals, I also want to inspire people to strive for their best lives and provide support and tools to achieve it. I hope to spread awareness around healthy living and the detriment constant stress has on overall health. I value the earth and the healing properties it holds and how it helps us truly disconnect from day to day demands and find clarity, peace and connection.
